The college will outline the process of identifying the need and opportunity for implementing IoT at Barnsley College and explain how the former 1930s mining college building, which is located in a conservation area, presented an ideal setting to support this initiative. DfE funding for part of the building (covering 2 of the 4 floors), with the reaming building refurbishment funded by the College. Salix funding and what this was used for, focusing on fabric first approach.
