The Intelligent Estate
What If your Estate Could Talk?
Adil Ayi, Founder/CEO, PLEQ
Universities generate vast amounts of data across their estates. Teaching spaces, libraries, study areas, and support facilities continuously produce information through occupancy sensors, timetabling systems, access systems, and user feedback. However, many institutions still struggle to translate this data into clear, operational decisions that improve space utilisation, sustainability, and the student and staff experience. Using real-world university case studies, the session demonstrates how AI supports evidence-based space planning, operational efficiency. Attendees will also see a live demonstration of a conversational AI prototype designed specifically for university estates, enabling facilities teams to query campus performance using natural language.
Redefining Education Construction Through Fully Traceable, Digitally Assured Delivery at Wembley Manor
Scott Laird, AI & Technical Director, Reds10
Wembley Manor showcases how Reds10 has transformed school delivery through a fully digital, Autodesk‑centred assurance system that captures 100% compliant evidence at installation. Using LOD 500 models, automated data extraction, QR‑linked assets and AI‑validated photographic proof, every critical component on the SEND school, down to each structural bolt, was traceable and assured in real time. This workflow accelerated the project programme, reduced room for error, strengthened design‑to‑manufacture alignment and delivered unprecedented transparency for the client. The result is a scalable, evidence‑first approach to school delivery that sets a new benchmark for safety, quality and accountability in education construction.
