Bull Products, an established manufacturer and supplier of lifesaving temporary fire protection equipment, has developed its Lockdown alarm system for the education market, although the system can be installed in any large public space to protect and warn of an intruder or other critical event.
The system comprises of a control panel and remote devices, connected through the wireless mesh network. When the alarm is activated, staff and pupils follow the lockdown procedure to safety and the control panel notifies a responsible person of an active alarm to quickly identify the location of the activation and alert the authorities.
