Synopsis

After having a new 2FE building built, Plymouth Grove Primary School moved out of their existing building which was left unoccupied. The building is of local importance and although not listed could not be demolished and Bridgelea Pupil Referral Unit were in need of new accommodation. Manchester City Council partnered with ISG to make practical use of this existing asset through preservation and conversion to maximise value and return. After having £1m taken off the budget, Client and Contractor worked together to get this project to contract within the budget, while delivering Social Value outcomes.
