Synopsis

Tate Harmer has spent years working on learning environments within the verdant natural setting of the Eden Project. The practice believes that the use of natural materials and an integration of buildings and landscape create clear benefits for education outcomes. The talk will explore this link through a range of projects for both Eden and a number of other schools and universities, and will suggest design strategies both large and small to bring nature into our learning spaces.
