About Noviun
Noviun Architects is an architectural practice with over 25 years of experience, rooted in the design of education environments that genuinely support the people who use them. We work closely with clients, consultants, and end users to understand their needs and create thoughtful, well-crafted buildings that respond to context, budget, and long-term value. While education (including SEND) remains our core sector, our work increasingly spans health, leisure, and residential projects, always guided by a people-first approach and a belief that good design can positively shape everyday life.
Our SEND Experience
SEND design is a key area of expertise for Noviun, and one we approach with care, curiosity, and empathy. We have delivered a wide range of SEND projects, from specialist schools to integrated provision within mainstream settings, working closely with educators, therapists, local authorities, and Educational Trusts. Our designs prioritise calm, clarity, and dignity, with careful consideration of sensory environments, spatial sequencing, and inclusivity. Every SEND project is different, and we see listening as just as important as drawing.
Sustainability and the NOW Group
Sustainability at Noviun is driven through our NOW Group, a practice-wide initiative focused on making meaningful, measurable improvements to how we design and operate. This includes reducing operational and embodied carbon, improving building performance, and embedding sustainable thinking from the earliest design stages. Just as importantly, the NOW Group looks inward, shaping better ways of working, learning, and sharing knowledge across the practice. Our aim is progress over perfection, taking responsible steps now that contribute to a more resilient built environment in the future.
