Biography

An Architect and RIBA Client Adviser, Aaron is the company’s education sector lead in the UK and drives Stantec’s UK business development activities.

Aaron has over two decades of education experience and works with colleagues around the world on the design and development of education projects. His specialism in education has led him to work at all levels within the sector, on both public and privately-funded schemes. Bringing a clear focus on the need for synergy between curriculum and learning environment to his designs, his portfolio includes University buildings, including specialist research facilities, such as the Wellcome-Wolfson Institute for Experimental Medicine at Queen’s University in Belfast, the Institute of Regeneration and Repair at the University of Edinburgh and work at the University of Birmingham.

Aaron also has extensive experience in the delivery of primary, special educational needs and secondary schools across the UK. His experience includes Titus Salt School in Bradford, multiple schools in Westminster including the award-winning Westminster City School and projects for Ellen Wilkinson and Lister Community Schools in London. Aaron also works closely with many local authorities and Academy groups in his role as a RIBA Client Adviser.

Aaron is a regular speaker on all aspects of education design across the UK and internationally, including the increasing synergies between education and innovative workplace design.
