Deborah Borg has been helping schools focus on security and safeguarding risks for Salford City Council since 2007. Trained by Greater Manchester Police and the Home Office in Crime Prevention through Environmental Design (CPTED), and a member of the Security Institute, she has a unique background to help schools tackle security issues. Developing school buildings that are safe and secure learning environments fit for the 21st Century, crime reduced by 67% within three years and by 84% to date.
A CEOP Ambassador, she also helps reduce incidents of online abuse, bullying and harassment via social media, and challenging anti-social behaviour by parents.
