Alan Fogarty is a Partner in Cundall and heads up their specialist environmental building physics group. He is a chartered Building Services Engineer who has specialised in passive building design and low carbon systems. He led the implementation of the WELL Building Standard for Cundall’s London office fit out, the first certified WELL project in Europe and offers health and wellbeing consultancy to clients on multiple projects. He led the Cundall team that developed the PDBP Baseline design for schools and is on the DFE’s industry liaison group. He was a member of the working group that revised the 2018 BB101 guidance. He is a technical adviser to Welsh Government inputting in to their 21st Century Schools programme. He is also on the DFE/CIBSE School’s climate change mitigation panel and the CIBSE TM40 Health & Wellbeing in building services. He is chair of the DFE’s non domestic Part L 2020 review panel looking at proposals for revising Building Regulations.
