Ann Griffin is an architect and RIBA Client Adviser. She joined the Department for Education, as a Design Adviser in June 2021. Her new role is the Design Team Lead for Free School Programme Support, driving quality in all school projects.
Ann co-founded Meadowcroft Griffin Architects in 2001, specialising in social infrastructure, before joining Maccreanor Lavington in 2013. Her many award-winning projects include: Lauriston School, Hackney; Kingsgate School and Liddell Road Mixed-Use Development, Camden; Charles Dickens and Grange Schools, Southwark.
As a visually impaired architect, Ann is an advocate for inclusion and equality across the built environment.
Ann is a member of a number of Design Review Panels and brings a holistic approach to developing sustainable communities to all her work.
