Becky is an Associate Director in Buro Happold’s Analytics & Crowd Dynamics team, whose consultancy focuses on optimising the interactions between people, places and processes. Her work aims to empower decision makers through innovative approaches to data collection, analytics and visualisation to identify insights from disparate datasets and provide effective, practicable solutions to complex problems. She has led and executed data analytics and crowd flow consultancy projects across a range of sectors including Education, Research and Workspaces and Healthcare. Examples include detailed analysis of space utilisation across a range educational institutes to inform future decision making and space planning; analysis of the relationships between air quality, timetabling and external factors to help inform guidance for schools across Scotland ; and agent based simulations to optimise patient throughput and minimise wait times in hospitals.
