Carol has over 20 years of experience working in the education sector. Her portfolio extends from nurseries and schools through to higher education, science and research institutes. Projects include schools for the Girls Day School Trust and the City of London, and the Laboratory of Medical Sciences for the MRC / Imperial College.
Carol is passionate about the impact good design can have in an educational environment. She championed Hawkins\Brown’s #GreatSchools initiative in partnership with the Architects Journal, is also a member of the school group on the Essex Quality Review Panel and has participated as an expert panel member in debates about school design today. She is also a chair of governors at a local primary school in Hackney.
