Emma Greenland
Emma is the Education Sector Lead and Director at Anderson Acoustics with over 20 years’ experience working in the field of acoustics and noise control.
Emma is a specialist in classroom acoustics for inclusion, architectural acoustics, design of rooms for speech intelligibility and privacy, acoustics for PA/VA systems, and open space planning.
Following her award-winning PhD research and publications on acoustics of open plan classrooms, and project experience, she co-authored the DfE’s acoustic performance standards for schools (BB93 2015), and the accompanying IoA/ANC design guide.
Her most recent research focuses on improving access to listening in the classroom for specific types of special education need towards inclusive listening environments for aural diversity.
