Freddie Hughes is an Associate at ABW Architects, a Liverpool-based practice with a strong track record in the education sector. He has worked across a wide range of school, college and further education projects, with a particular interest in balancing design quality, technical resolution and the practical realities of delivering work within live education environments. ABW’s approach is strongly collaborative, working closely with clients, consultants, contractors and end users to develop clear, robust and deliverable solutions. Freddie’s experience reflects this, with a focus on technical coordination, phasing, safeguarding, access and operational constraints. He was part of the team behind the award-winning Burnley College Industry Hub, a project that demonstrates ABW’s collaborative approach and its ability to deliver technically resolved, practical and engaging learning environments within a live further education campus.
