Hareth Pochee
Hareth is one of Max Fordham’s leaders in the design and delivery of truly sustainable, net zero carbon buildings. Joining the practice in 2000, Hareth is now a Principal Engineer with a particular specialism in education, community, and public access buildings.
He has led some of Max Fordham’s most exemplary sustainable projects, where his role has extended far beyond that of the traditional building services engineer, including consultancy on low environmental impact materials, low carbon catering, sustainable transport, waste management, and post-occupancy evaluation of energy and water use.
His projects include the RIBA Stirling Prize-shortlisted Central Somers Town housing and community scheme, the Hampate Ba School in Niger, and the refurbishment of Tate St Ives.
Externally, he works with LETI and UKGBC steering groups to drive the zero carbon agenda and gives talks to architectural practices, clients and students on the design of sustainable buildings.
