Green Infrastructure - Sustainability Design Advisor,
Department for Education
Joe Clancy is a chartered member of the Landscape Institute and has recently joined the Department for Education (DfE) as a Sustainability Design Advisor on Green Infrastructure. Prior to working at the DfE, his professional experience as a landscape architect included education campuses, sustainable estate management plans, active travel and strategic green infrastructure projects, with a focus on increasing equitable access to nature. He has authored several papers, reports and case studies on biophilic design, including as co-author on Terrapin Bright Green’s 14 Patterns of Biophilic Design: Improving Health and Wellbeing in the Built Environment.
