Julia Gollings is an Architect and leads on education design and technical standards at the Department for Education (DfE).

Julia joined the DfE Design Team in 2021 with over twenty years’ experience designing and building school buildings and grounds for the public and private sector. Her role includes supporting capital delivery as a Design Advisor and leading on the technical development of DfE guidance, standards and tools based on user-focused evidence to support all schools and colleges across England, including the development of a new digital information hub.
