Julia Gollings is an Architect and leads on education building and construction standards at the Department for Education (DfE).

Julia joined the DfE Design Team in 2021 with over twenty years’ experience designing and building school buildings and grounds for the public and private sector. Her role has included supporting capital delivery as a Design Advisor and leading on the DfE’s adoption of ISO 19650. Julia is currently leading the technical development of the next iteration of the DfE Output Specification based on user-focused evidence to support all schools and colleges across England.
