Kirsti is Head of Carbon and Energy at UWE Bristol, leading the net zero carbon mission with a team of passionate carbon, energy and water professionals. A Chartered Environmentalist, and Full Member of the Energy Institute and the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment, with 24 years’ experience from the corporate and Further and Higher Education sectors, Kirsti brings together her experience in energy and carbon management, sustainable operations, change management, facilitation and engagement to embrace the complexity of the challenge, and action a workable, realistic, transparent and robust net zero carbon plan for the university.
