Throughout my studies and time in practice, the subject of ‘Well-being’ has always been an integral part of my research and consciously applied to all projects I work on. This, along with Research-Led and Evidence based design is the key thread in all I do. My drive to continuously investigate and learn has enriched my knowledge and skills and has developed my own architectural identity along with a creative body of work of which I am very passionate. Between academic years I trained with the National Autistic Society to become a Support Worker in order to better understand the needs of SEND children. I worked in two SEND Schools and from my research and experience produced a design proposal for a ‘Retreat Room’ for a primary school in Bristol.
