Marié Nevin is an architect at Stride Treglown's Cardiff studio, with experience in higher education, residential and healthcare sectors. This includes schemes ranging from small scale extensions to multimillion pound refurbishments and new builds. Marié was involved in University of Wales Trinity Saint David’s SA1 Swansea Waterfront scheme, awarded RICS Social Impact Awards 2020 for its aspiration to improve access to facilities to surrounding disadvantaged communities. Having grown up and studied in Japan, Malawi and the UK, Marié is passionate about inclusive and people-centric design and strives to create practical, meaningful and beautiful spaces that are accessible to all. Marié is an advocate for promoting equity and diverse talents in the industry where everyone can be their true self. Through RIBA (Royal Institute of British Architects) school engagements and mentoring programmes, she is driven to help widen access to architectural education and careers for people of all backgrounds and identities.
