Since February 2019, Mark has been the lead DfE Design Adviser for SEND, AP & Inclusive Design, contributing to a range of design guidance documents, building programmes and individual projects, providing strategic SEND design support to DfE delivery teams, architects and responsible bodies.

Prior to joining the DfE he was a SEND specialist in private sector architect and project management companies with DfE and many local authority clients. A collaborative, communicative style is key to his approach to positively support more inclusive education settings.
