Michál Cohen is a director and co-founder of Walters & Cohen Architects. Since 1994, the practice has developed a strong portfolio of elegant and innovative buildings in the UK and abroad, and has an excellent reputation as education architects, receiving awards for how their schools look and function. Michál has completed many inspiring education projects underpinned by rigorous research, creative thinking and international best practice.

Michál contributes to the wider discussion about architecture as a competition judge, conference speaker, trustee, design reviewer, lecturer and examiner. In 2020 she was made an Honorary Professor of Architecture at the University of Nottingham.
