Rachel, Regional Practice Director for Education in the UK at HKS has a passion for school design and a firm belief that a learning environment has a direct impact on the performance of both pupils and staff.

Throughout her career to date, Rachel has worked with numerous schools, trusts and councils to help them create their new buildings, improve their existing estate and create all new school campuses. Her experience over the past 10+ years encompasses primary schools through to FE specialist colleges, with a wealth of experience in SEND school of varying needs, all providing learning environments responding to the user’s own needs. Rachel is also a Part 3 Tutor and Oral Examiner.
