Ross Westwood is a Chartered Surveyor and Partner at Gardiner & Theobald LLP, with over 18 years’ experience delivering complex projects across the Education sector. He has worked continuously within this specialist field throughout his career, including roles at Davis Langdon, AECOM, and Gardiner & Theobald. Ross has a strong track record of supporting education institutions in developing estate strategies aligned to budgetary requirements across a broad range of project types synonymous with the sector. His key areas of expertise include early-stage cost modelling and risk profiling to support robust and sustainable cost plans, alongside providing strategic advice that delivers best value for clients. An alumnus of University of Greenwich, Ross has a particular passion for the conservation and revitalisation of historic buildings, combining heritage sensitivity with a forward-thinking approach to future-proofing and repurposing existing assets. He adopts a proactive and hands-on approach to project delivery, fostering strong collaborative relationships with clients and stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes. Ross is also passionate about mentoring and is a strong advocate for supporting young professionals entering the industry, helping them develop their careers and achieve chartered status
