Sean Lockie

Sean Lockie is part of the climate leadership team in Arup. With over 23 years of experience in sustainability and climate change, Sean is an expert in systems innovation, policy, governance, finance, social justice, and technology. He has led significant projects such as the London Borough of Newham’s Just Transition Plan, UNDP’s systems innovation programme, city programmes for the EU (Net Zero Cities) the GLA Future Neighbourhoods, and programmes for C40. Sean’s work has been instrumental in developing climate action plans, circular economy strategies, and sustainable finance models, making a substantial impact on global sustainability efforts. He was worked on schools for decades supporting DfE, and local authorities. He has written building bulletins, technical papers, and delivering learning to the schools sector.
