Steve Dam leads Refit_2050, a service bringing together Sewell Group's diverse estates expertise to help organisations transition to a net zero future. Steve has based his career in the construction industry, supporting the delivery of multi-million pound projects across the education and health sectors. In 2023 he was appointed Retrofit Lead for Sewell Group, coordinating the company's services which help building owners and operators navigate the complicated journey to Net Zero, helping them identify 'what to do' and 'in what order'. He led the project to analyse the carbon impact of the STEAM Studios, engaging UTC students with the project.
