Stuart Arnfield

Stuart Arnfield is the Chief Finance and Operating Officer at Burnley College. He has almost 20 years’ experience across finance, estates and operational improvement roles within and supporting the education sector. Stuart has led the College's campus masterplan and developments over the last seven years, which have included the construction of three new buildings, a five acre expansion of the campus, and several major refurbishment projects, with more than £40m of investment in total. All of the development work has been aligned to the full college campus masterplan that has been developed and refreshed during that period and has been a key factor in the success of the College's developments. The award-winning Industry Hub building was one of two major developments completed in 2024, providing a specialist facility for all woodworking trades training and was the flagship building for the College's North Campus expansion.
