As a founding director of alma-nac Tristan has been instrumental in the formation of the practice. Tristan studied at the University of Sheffield and The Bartlett UCL where he developed a keen interest in collaborative design processes and community engagement. This interest has been maintained in architectural practice alongside a keen interest in sustainability and how high quality design can help create robust long term solutions. Tristan was the project director on the delivery of the new Lower School Library building for Dulwich College. Larger scale education projects such as this are complimented by work on a series of one off houses and retrofit projects. He enjoys working closely with clients and end users and feels their active engagement is a critical part of the design process.
