Enhancing Project, Pupil, and Planet outcomes through Contractor and Supplier Engagement

This presentation highlights how schools can collaborate with contractors and suppliers to enhance project outcomes, pupil learning, and sustainability. Key areas include involving pupils in procurement decisions, integrating social value into supplier relationships, and ensuring ethical financial considerations.    The session explores how contracting can bring the curriculum to life, create green career opportunities, and help schools measure and reduce Scope 3 emissions. Additionally, it emphasises strengthening supplier-customer relationships, promoting sustainable procurement, and aligning with DfE guidance. Through practical strategies and case studies, schools can develop responsible supply chains that benefit students, the community, and the environment.
